To receive a Reiki session the client is fully clothed and made comfortable on a warm biomat that emits negative ions and increases the healing effects. A special essential oil blend is created for the client to support the desired outcome . The client's energy field is scanned for Byosen or disruptions . After conversing with the client about their intention for the session a series of hand positions are applied , lovingly and gently on the body. Only safe touch is ever used. The shamanic practice known as soul retrieval is perhaps the most important healing technique in shamanism.
